When comparing the Recon against another Nerf gun, you should note the price, rate of fire, and durability of each blaster. Other Nerf gun fiends like me will rate the mod-ability of a blaster as well, as many players want to improve the range of their Nerf guns. This comparison however, you’ll be happy to know that the features have been weighed, the prices have been factored, and picked a winner for you. We’ve tested most Nerf guns out there, and found a clear winner. For one, they want something easily modded, but also, they also want it to be affordable, and thirdly, they want it to shoot hard. To much surprise, the Recon stands to be the blaster most players are looking for. It is insanely easy to take apart, is among the hardest shots, very durable, and best of all –it’s affordable. Now, you might think your other choice is a better Nerf gun, but before you do, take a look at other reviews for the Recon out there, particularly those from experienced modders, as they really know what they are talking about. From my own experience, the Recon in particular can be taken apart more easily than any other (especially the Alpha Trooper). The only screws that were moderately difficult to get to are behind the cocking mechanism. To get to them, simply cock the marker back, and unscrew them first before any others. Just be sure to put these screws in last when re-assembling it.
